Dr. David K. Shelor, Pastor

 David Shelor was born and raised in Black Mountain, North Carollina as the son of a Presbyterian pastor.  After graduating from Davidson College in Davidson NC, he worked for four years as an engineer in Atlanta before entering Columbia Theological Seminary there.  David served for seven years as the pastor of Carrollton Presbyterian Church in Carrollton GA before coming to Tampa to start St. Andrew.  He has also served churches in Stone Mountain GA and Ghana, West Africa.  He received his Doctor of Ministry degree from McCormick Theological Seminary.  He, his wife "Bert", and their two children love being in Tampa as a part of St. Andrew.  "People still want to have an experience of God and know that God has more meaning and purpose for their lives than just buying stuff and living day-to-day," David claims.  "I am excited to be a part of a community of people who are finding God's presence and listening for God's call in their lives."

April Simons, Church Administrator

April Simons was born and raised in Tampa. She attended of the University of South Florida and graduated with a Bachelors in Business Management. She has also attained her certification of Professional in Human Resources (PHR). April worked for several years as a Human Resources Generalist and Training Coordintor for Publix Supermarkets. April was also employed as a Executive Recruiter for a Fortune 500 recruiting firm in Clearwater.
April is a mother of two, a son Tristan, and a daughter Campbell. She and her husband Rob live in nearby Wesley Chapel.

Todd LeBlanc, Music Director

A native of Vermont and a graduate of Plymouth State College, New Hampshire (BS - Music Education), Todd has lived and worked in New Tampa for over 18 years.  His background includes work as a music teacher in the Hillsborough County Schools.  He has gained a wonderful local reputation during his four years as the music director at Grace Episcopal Church and most recently during five years at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, where the choir grew from 6 to more than 70 under his leadership.  He is also well known as founder of "Showkidz", the children's performing arts program in New Tampa.  Todd's wife, Keli, is a guidance counselor with Hillsborough County Schools.  They have two daughters: Kathryn and Abbey.

                                     Paula Salter, Director of Christian Education

Paula Salter has accepted the call to serve as our Director of Christian Education with responsibilities for children and youth. Paula has been a member of St. Andrew for about two years now, and she loves singing in the choir and working with children and youth. Paula comes to us with a master's degree in Christian Education from the Presbyterian School of Christian Education (now part of Union Presbyterian Seminary) in Richmond, Virginia. She has previously served as the Director of Christian Education in Presbyterian churches in Florida and Georgia. Paula is currently working as an assessment specialist for the Florida Virtual School, and she shares her home and home office with five dogs. Paula is excited to continue to serve God and God's people in this place through her new role. With God's help, she hopes to support the growth of the church's educational ministry.
